On average the price for RV rental in Brisbane varies from as little as $60 all the way up to $300-350 per day.
Of course prices vary for a variety of reasons. Travelling in peak times is of course more expensive than renting during the low season.
Booking in advance can often come in cheaper, and of course the size and class of RV, as well as the facilities and amenities included will affect the cost of the rental.
It’s important to remember that the RV rental fee alone isn’t a true reflection of the cost of a road trip.
Yes, you have your vehicle, accommodation and often cooking all sorted, however there are plenty of other costs involved in renting an RV, such as tolls, insurance, taxes and fuel.
Unlike some US and UK firms, you don’t have to be as old as 25 to rent an RV in Brisbane. Most firms will rent to anyone over 21.
In fact, some of the firms above rent to those as young as 18.
If you're looking to rent a campervan in Brisbane, just keep in mind that some firms charge extra to renters aged 18-20.
However, a few of the companies we’ve recommended above come with no young driver fees.
In Queensland you can’t camp overnight in rest areas, however you're allowed to stay overnight in a rest area, as long as you stay in your camper.
The Queensland government states you aren’t permitted to stay for longer than 20 hours in a rest area.
Of course another great option is staying at campsites, or RV/caravan parks. There are plenty of free camping spots available throughout Queensland too.
As you can see, there are plenty of Brisbane campervan rental companies to choose from!
