Of course, prices for RV rental in the USA will vary depending on the state. Prices for renting an RV in Denver will be different to those for renting an RV in Seattle.
As America is such a big country, there’s going to be a huge variety of prices. You can expect to pay anywhere between $100 and $1000 per night depending on where you are, and the class of RV you want to rent.
Most RV rental firms in America have a minimum age of 25, however some of the firms we have recommended above offer rentals to those 21 and over.
Depending on which US state you’re in, there are different options when it comes to parking up. Some states will allow wild camping/sleeping in laybys, whereas in other states you could be fined for this.
A lot of states will have BLM land where it's free to park, but make sure you do your research into wild camping in different states before you travel! Also, some areas of BLM land are only suited to 4WD vehicles, so make sure you check that beforehand.
There will be plenty of campsites and RV parks which cater for motorhomes and campervans. All of the USA RV rental firms we’ve recommended will be able to give you good advice and recommendations on where to park your motorhome.
There’s an abundance of truck stops throughout America too, and these are another good option for free overnight parking.
So by now you must be feeling suitably inspired, and prepared to take a road trip around the USA.
Hopefully, we’ve helped you decide on the RV rental firm that’s right for you.
