When we were visiting beautiful Granada in Nicaragua, we had the chance to stay in the stunning Hotel boutique Adela. I love boutique hotels as they are more authentic and it feels like you’re “not just another customer”. So below is my honest review of a staying in the hotel boutique Adela.
The great thing about the rooms in the hotel boutique Adela is that they all have pool access and views of the pool. This means you don’t have to worry about choosing a “bad” room.
There are two types of room on offer. A king size room with one large King size bed and another room with two double beds.
Bradley and I stayed in the King size room and it was super spacious. There was a large bathroom with a great shower, complimentary toiletries and nice sink.
There was even another room that worked as a walk-in-wardrobe type area. You can store your clothes and bags and any other items in there, to keep the area tidy!
I found this really useful.
The rooms also come with air conditioning as standard, which is seriously needed in very warm Granada. It worked perfectly. There are two large windows which bring in gorgeous natural light to the room, and help add to the space.
You have a large glass door that opens up onto your own sunbed, then you are steps from the swimming pool. Perfection.
There is a lovely swimming pool on the property which is perfect for cooling down from the sun. It’s actually the PERFECT temperature. It’s not warm, it’s not cold either. It’s ideal for the weather.
There are sunbeds next to the pool to relax on afterwards with a good book.
There is a an outdoor kitchen at Adela, which is perfect if need to store something in the fridge, such as wine or beer.
Breakfast is included in the price of your room during your stay at the hotel boutique adela. We really enjoyed the breakfast and there was so much on offer.
Fresh coffee (Nicaraguan coffee is fantastic), eggs, pancakes, granola, yogourt and juice.
We were stuffed after our breakfast and you can dine beside the pool under the sunshine, which is truly a perfect start to the day!
The staff at the property are super welcoming and friendly. Bradley and I speak limited Spanish, but the staff were patient with our understanding and were always there when we needed them.
There is an on-site manager who speaks English should you need to ask for something specific.
But the staff are a testament to the property!
The actually property is stunning. There are gardens with fountains and amazing plants and flowers. Everything is so well put together, that you can’t but feel at peace in the tranquil environment.
You’re also in a brilliant location as the property is just a few minutes walk from the main central plaza and to the restaurants and bars in the area. It’s a really good location because you are far enough to avoid noise, but close enough to not need transport to get anywhere.
Perfection in my eyes!
It’s a perfect boutique hotel for couples in my opinion. If you like your own space, and you like peaceful surroundings, then this is a perfect stay for you. The WiFi is excellent too if you need to get any work done.
It’s actually quite a romantic setting and you’ll truly enjoy your stay here. The hotel is also an excellent price. It’s not crazy high, it’s the perfect amount for the staff, service and surroundings you save. Prices are around £55-60 per night with breakfast.
It’s also a great place for families, as you can the option of renting out the full house. So if you’ve got a large family visiting Granada, then this is perfect!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Boutique Adela, and would happily stay here again on a return to Granada.
