How much it will cost you to rent an RV in Auckland, will depend on the time of year you are looking to rent in, the company you book through and the size of the vehicle you need.
High season in New Zealand typically runs from December through until March, so in this period, you will find that RV rentals are considerably more expensive!
Typically though, you should expect to spend anywhere between $75 and $200 a day for a small campervan and between $200 and $500 per day for a larger RV.
If you're on a budget, then there's always the option of a going for a car rental in New Zealand as they're often much cheaper (although you'll have to pay for accommodation).
Legally, you need to be at least 18 years old to rent a car or motorhome in New Zealand, however, most rental companies in Auckland require you to be at least 21 years old, with some companies charging extra for those under 25s.

While there are areas throughout New Zealand where you can park up for free, there are many areas around Auckland and the rest of the country where you are not allowed to park up overnight.
